Born and raised in Washington, D.C. Dominic attended both Xavier University of Louisiana and Howard University where he studied Political Science and Civil Engineering. While higher learning provided him with the tools he would need to become a budding producer, it was trips to places like South America, Europe and Israel that taught him a deeper meaning to the things that life has to offer. It was during these travels that he realized his lifelong outlet of writing would become his avenue in making a more meaningful contribution to society. During the span of his short screenwriting career, Dominic has written and produced over two dozen music videos with well over three hundred million views for artists such as Flo Rida, 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Jason Durelo, Tyga and more. In 2014 he wrote and produced his first feature film directed by Alex Acosta. In 2016, he was selected as one of five candidates out of 300 for the VH1 Unscripted Storytellers Workshop hosted by the American Black Film Festival.
Born and raised in Bronx, NY, Alex Acosta has over 10 years of film experience with an ingenious shooting style that blurs the creative lines between music videos and feature film production. As head of his own production company, Prestige FilmWorks, Alex’s skill behind the lens has taken him to over 50 countries across the world, capturing and documenting the success of such platinum selling acts as Flo Rida, Natalie La’Rose, and Jason Durelo just to name a few. With directorial work showcasing on BET, REVOLT, MTV, FUSE, ESPN and ABC, Alex has produced corporate and social media marketing campaigns that have appeared on Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and Jimmy Kimmel. His commercial experience includes such clients as Atlantic Records, Samsung, Celsius, iLoud, La’lpina Water, the NBA and ESPN. As he continues to direct and produce new projects to come, it’s no surprise that Alex has plans to develop his talents without bounds.
