CJ Williams as “KING MCBRIDE”
KING: (late 20’s) A college educated bachelor with a degree in psychology but working in pharmaceutical sells. Emotionless but stable after a breakup, he works his days as an independent pharmaceutical salesman while courting random women at night.
ABOUT CJ: Charles “CJ Williams is an American actor, model, and writer. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago this multi-talented Marine Vet turn Federal Police Officer got his start in the industry at 31 years of age when he booked his first modeling job. After a few months of doing fashion shows and building his modeling portfolio, friends and family convinced him to pursue acting. Some of his credits include House of Cards, Pivot Point, multiple appearances on the I.D. Chaka Balamani as “CHUCK”
CHUCK: (Late 20’s) King’s cousin married with a couple of kids cousin. The most stable of CJ’s social circle but borderline unhappy with his boring sex life. Silently envious of his cousin freedom to be and explore.
ABOUT Chaka: Chaka Balamani is a veteran actor with over 15 years experience in Film, Television, and Stage. He is also the Founder and Head Writer/Director at Empowering Our Children Filmworks which is dedicated to providing the youth a voice to express themselves through Arts, Film and Writing by networking and partnering with committed Youth Advocacy Groups and Community based Organizations that are motivated to identify the challenges that face our young people in society today. In 2017 Chaka Balamani will be releasing his latest collaboration with Executive Producers Black Women For Positive Change and their second Short Film “Drop -A Story Of Triumph” which focuses on the High School Drop Out Rate in America. A Maryland Native Chaka Balamani is now preparing to Direct his second Full Feature Film, “On This Bridge” a drama addressing the suicide rate of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Steve Austin as “GREEN”
GREEN: (Late 20’s) King’s childhood best friend. Pretty boy and true bachelor but reckless and without standards. Carrying a baggage of baby momma drama and unfiltered disrespect for women he has suddenly decided to get married.
ABOUT Steve: Born and raised in the nation’s capitol, Stephen A. Austin has always possessed a passion for performing. With music as his first love, he played in school marching bands from elementary school and on through college years at Delaware State, mastering both the tuba and the drums. As an undergraduate, Stephen developed his leadership skills, majoring in Business Management. Soon after, he entered the world of modeling, landing his first gig with Sports Zone, who utilized his image in their store windows as well as on their website. To date, Stephen continues to blaze his path down the runway in various fashion shoes around the country. In 2007, Stephen caught the acting bug after being cast in his first play, Goin’ Up Yonda, where he starred as Nathan. His stellar performances on the stage landed him a starring role in the independent film, Pitbulls In A Skirt. Since that time, he has gone on to showcase his talents in three stage plays, Coveted (www.mymcheawrites.com), A Father’s Seed and The Other Side of Pain (www.rooseveltproduction.com). Additionally, Stephen has appeared in several commercials, including the Adidas “Do What Light Does” ad which featured the Washington Redskins superstar quarterback, RGIII as well as a spot for Lexus of Towson. Currently, you can see Stephen gracing the cover of Authoress Anna Black’s bestselling novel, Now You Wanna Come Back 3 (released April 2013).
